Check if you’re covered under warranty
If you’re experiencing car battery issues, checking your warranty coverage is a crucial first step.
- Determine your purchase date to see if your battery is still under warranty.
- Consult your warranty documentation provided at the time of purchase for details.
If your battery is within the warranty period:
- Contact Walmart customer service or the automotive department for assistance.
- Prepare to provide proof of purchase to process your warranty request.
Not all battery issues may be covered:
- Physical damage, improper installation, or neglect could void your warranty.
- Regular maintenance, like cleaning terminals, can extend your battery’s life.
Stay proactive by maintaining records of battery purchases and understanding warranty terms to maximize coverage.
